They think I do not know a buttload of crap about the Gospel, but I do!

summerish activities include: the iron & wine and head and the heart concert. it was wonderful, even if he didn't play flightless bird for the teenybopper contingent (me).

the coolest lemonade stand i've ever seen made by a certain dad on a whim. the kids have made $30 so far and i will try not to cry when the proceeds of many hot summer mornings in the driveway go toward pillow pets.

playing baseball.

and good news, our chickens are alive and kicking and, as far as we can tell, all hens!

the cabbage is alive and kicking too.

that's all for now.

post title from here in case you think i'm crazy. i'm teaching gospel essentials (sunday school) this sunday and that line keeps going through my head.

best blog title EVER.

these photos are unreal abby!

that top photo of pearl is gorgeous.
i'm still mad at sam beam for playing non-popular songs. shame on me for saying that.
that lemonade stand is the coolest! good job jamie!
milo is adorable with those cute freckles.

as for angus and julia stone. not into them. not sure why.

ahhh... flightless bird. my pilates instructor includes that in her playlist sometimes and i die. (does saying "my pilates instructor" make me sound official?)

and that lemonade stand really makes our lemonade-stand posterboard sign look rather lame.

and i'm with kate. those pictures of your kids are amazing...AMAZING!

That is THE best lemonade stand I have ever seen. love the photos (as always I suppose- but you capture the best shots!) We are kind of really huge fans of Nacho at our house & quote that movie all the time. I bet you're a great sunday school teacher- I'd love to come to your class; even though am thoroughly enjoying primary- I love the gospel in it's plain and simple form.

This could be one of my top five favorite blog posts of your blog's entire existence. I just adore the photos- especially that the first and last are GORGEOUS, gorgeous ones of your kids. Pearl looks so grown up in that picture.

I have never seen a cuter lemonade stand in my entire life. That thing is darling. It should be featured on Martha Stuart. Whose cute handwriting is that? The painted on lemons give it just the right touch. And $30? That's a ton of money for selling lemonade! Your comment about pillow pets is so funny. Those things really took off! Emerald has two. Haha.

Yes, that last photo does kind of look like one of your other nephews. Milo is growing up too!

Didn't really mean to ask whose cute handwriting it is- I'm sure it's yours. I guess I meant to compliment it!

In their defense, Pillow Pets are quite cozy when traveling. Ugly, but cozy. And secondly, good for you for getting called to teach Sunday school! I remember loving that class when I was a new convert.

That's the best Lemonade stand I've ever seen! Next time they're open for business call me and we will seriously drive out for some Lemonade, or if you guys want to come swim give me a call for that too! If you're looking for pillow pets check at TJ Maxx, they have some generic ones that are just as cute and I think they are more like $13-15, we got ours at Marshalls when we were in AZ, but I've seen em pretty recently at TJ Maxx too.

"Did you not tell him they were the Lord's chips?"

:D

You do seem to be rather talented at that photography thing (A talent I wish I shared. The first picture of your daughter looks very French to me. (Not that I know anything about France, of course.) It's lovely.

Also, did the wiffle ball actually hit her in the face? Because it looks poised to. And that would be rather sad.
