goldie freddie

(From this morning.)

The Golden child is 7 months old. He enjoys 15-minute power naps, pulling hair, feeding himself, baths, and humming. He does not enjoy the Bumbo, sitting still, or being held by anyone besides his mom. We all bend over backwards for him and love every minute of it.

His mother wishes she could write more interesting blog posts but she is always racing against the nap time clock. Plus, she's tired. "Times and seasons!" is her new mantra.

Is his middle name Fred? That's no.1 on our boy list. He's so sweet. You'll never regret spending all this time bent over backwards. I bet.

He has such a perfect face. I also have a babe who doesn't like sitting still and yeah, tiring. But worth it.

He looks older than when we saw him 2 weeks ago. What a doll!

Kate- yes! Golden Frederick. I really love Fred/Freddie. I had a panic attack in the hospital when they forced us to fill out the birth certificate because I didn't know if the baby was a Golden or a Freddie. It was a hard choice! And lots of hormones going on, obv. Anyway, I put it as his middle name just in case he turned into a Freddie. But if we have another kid and it's a boy I would want him to be Freddie. So that's a predicament. But Jamie says if we have another kid it will be a girl. Ha. Anyway, I hope you have Fred. Love it.

Meg- your baby is the cutest ever. I love when he pops up on my IG feed. And, yes, boys! So tiring!

Sarah- I think he seems older too! He's changed just even in the last few days. Fun age.

Cute baby photos make for interesting/great blog posts without needing to write ;-). He is absolutely adorable! 3rd children have a way of bringing out the "times and seasons" mantra in many of us I think. Keep loving that baby :-) I seriously do not believe that babies can have too much lovin' or be "spoiled". :-)

"Times and Seasons" is the best mantra. Let's resolve to enjoy it. You're a good inspiration with that.
