Golden
We named our boy Golden after my mom's dad. I never met him but know he was a good man and a good dad after he married my grandma and adopted her daughters. He was a high school principal, drivers ed teacher, and Utah State football player, among other things. Plus, he had a great name. I like that it sounds hippy and old-fashioned all at once.
Golden is really really sweet and smells really really good. Some say he looks like Milo. He is already addicted to the pacifier. His brother and sister are big fans and pros at baby talk. His sister sings elaborate lullabies for him. He's perfect.
I will probably share a few birth details soon since I made such a to-do with my natural birth aspirations. So stay tuned to see whether I wussed out or not! (Spoiler: I did and I didn't. It's complicated.) (Not that medicated birth is wussy. You know what I mean.)

I just randomly looked at your blog after finally updating mine a little and saw your adorable new baby boy. Congrats. I also had a baby 9 months ago. I named her Sylvie that makes 4 kids now. Crazy how long it has been since we lived by each other.
