jellystone in june

don't let the bajill photos overwhelm you. let's instead choose to marvel that i blogged at all.

highlights of the trip include:

still getting excited about bison

the overwhelming 1920s cuteness of mammoth

a momma bear and two cubs (from afar)

bald eagles

listening to the little women soundtrack whilst driving through God's splendor

my dad and jamie betting on who could wrestle a bison and milo interjecting, "but papa, you're old!"

pearl looking french

milo saving a korean tourist's hat that flew into a hot spring

our cute little playhouse of a cabin

being with my parents who are- jamie and i agree- the best traveling companions in the world

Who's that chubby lady in the blue sweater who looks like she just got fished out of the creek? Yikes! Otherwise, fantastic photos. Fabulous trip!!!

Beautiful photos! My father-in-law suggested we go to Yellowstone while we're up visiting in Idaho.... we may just have to do so.... I love that you love traveling with your parents, too. They are wonderful folks:)

Hey there, not even sure how I got here. I'm sure we have mutual friends. But whenever I happen upon a blog I make my presence known. I've spen some time looking over your blog. I love it. I thought my days of blog hopping were over, but you know...I'm a California/Utah transplant living in the mid-west and I look for connection on the WWW since it's sometimes hard to find out here in the muggy Midwest. I never like claiming that "I think we'd be great friends" but I do like the way you write. I think your kids are absolutely adorable and I hope I am welcome (and remember) to check in every once and a while. Plus, your hair looks awesome.

beautiful. the coon hats are so awesome. i would freak out if i was that close to a moose.

also... i haven't worn my dress yet, have you? clint proclaimed it to be the ugliest article of clothing i have (he hates the print) so that's a little depressing.

I was just thinking about you and you parents the other day. I was thinking about how much I wanted to go to the Grand Canyon. Good times.

How did I not comment on this amazing post? The photos are so wonderful and even thought I don't get as excited about the outdoors like David or you and Jamie, these make me really want to go to Yellow Stone. I think we'll really regret it if we never go. It should be on my things to do list before leaving the Utah area. Speaking of that list- do you want to go float in The Salt Lake with me? I promised my geography teacher I would do that sometime in my lifetime. It will be gross, but we should still do it.

Your parents are adorable. Absolutely adorable!!!
