asbestos

i've run out of peppermint patties, so i guess it's time to blog again. bringin' home the big bucks. ($8 from ads if you must know. don't be jealous. but i can't bring myself to take the ads off because...$8!)

it was -9 degrees when i took milo to preschool yesterday. i can't really add anything to that piece of news but an expletive, except i don't curse. i leave that to my madre. (mom, leave a good hell or damn in the comments.)

shalynna and i started watching gone with the wind since she just finished the book. i can't help but wonder who cast that old geezer for the ashley wilkes character. what?! we both love melanie and we both cried when she died in the book. we all need to be a little more melanie. i'm more mammy than melanie. i like mammy.

something jamie sketched with the kids' crayons during stake conference:

the hills are alive

real nice. i can't help but stare at it and wonder how i'm going to get through sub-zero february. this time last year i was complaining about sweltering heat. it's always somethin!

some other things i want to blog-address: buying an antebellum home in the south, essential oils, how my 3-year-old has to pee every 20 minutes, artificial food dyes, p90x, the statute of limitations for pursuing your dreams, walt whitman, baby names, and anxiety. maybe another day.

in the meantime, i have something exciting coming on the blog soon. like a peppermint patty, but even a hundred times better. woah!

hey lady! it's been awhile since i've visited you here! first off, i love jamie's drawing. second, you make me laugh - which is the best. and third, p90x? tell me more, tell me more! seriously tho, i want details.

oh, and i can't wait to know what in the world could be better than a peppermint patty!? haha! ;)

baby names?
Love the drawing- it's nice to have an excuse (like kids) to bring crayons to church. :)

I was gonna blog about those exact same things! Weird.

Really though, I love when people I know are like "oh so you like make money from your blog now!?" and then I have to be all "ya, I made like 7 cents yesterday" if this were a pay by hour job I'm pretty sure I'd OWE Blogger by now.

p.s. You think I could commission Jamie to sketch me a Liger or something?

One time Adam tried to draw a profile of me once and it looked so "sketchy" that I looked like a very hairy faced Pocahontas.

i'm cool with just a peppermint patty.

so, what's it take to up your income? do I have to click on the add? I'll click on those light fixtures all day long if it will turn you into a millionaire.

What a pretty picture! Tell Jamie he has many talents.

You are not like Mammy one bit, except you are both funny. I was really getting into the second half of the movie more than the first. I'm excited to finish it. Yes, Ashely Wilkes is a creeper. Maybe they do that so we don't like him?

Please address all of those categories in separate posts. How about one a day?

dude. are you holding back?! remember my dream i told you about?! i really hope you're having a julian.

i have a sneeky suspicion that this suprise isn't really about a baby. i'm thinking that it's going to be that you're announcing you guys are going to be carni's (like carnival workers.) hey! it would be cool right?! free cotton candy and corn dogs!

i know.. i know.. random comment award. i'm just SO painfully bored at work!

Hey, $8 is $8!!
i was thinking about you yesterday when I saw a photo booth at the south town mall.

Awesome blogging topics, Abby. You had seriously better tackle these one by one. And I want to know more about your boot/slippers and hope you got to wear them when you dropped Milo off in frigid weather.

Eight Dollars!?!! Oh Captain, My Captain!

I can't wait for the comment from AG. i love me a good damn/hell from a righteous woman such as your mother. I would love for you to just call me and chat about every single one of those intriguing topics. Seriously. and $8? awesome. I'd leave the ads up too. in fact, i might add ads to my blog. except my readership is much smaller so i might get $1.50. which would still be cool, right?

p.s. i don't always love peppermint patties but sometimes i really crave them. but {always!} i love to break them in half right by my ear. it's one of my favorite sounds. you need to try it. you won't regret it. it might even induce a "'expletive' that was cool!"

Whoa! Da. . He . . Can't bring myself to do it, even though these cold temps have me in a dither. Our high was 44 today. Never saw the likes of that! I was getting excited about the baby names topic there for a minute. Jamie is da . . good at sketching. Natalie, you crack me up! AG

have i mentioned that i'm really mad that you are like hanging out with shalynna...and like watching movies with her that i would want to watch? i mean i'd want to watch them with you too, but what the crap are you doing watching them together- without me. i'm way mad. i'll bet you've never had a tim tam. those things would blow your face off. i'm so more mammy than you.

robin- that's enough out of you. I'm cold 90% of the time these days. I can't for your news, and I put peppermint patties in the freezer. Have you tried them that way? You'll never eat another room temperature patty again.

I read gone with the wind a few months ago, I think because I saw it on your blog bookshelf. I LOVED it. I am dying to watch the movie. I just have to find it at the library cuz I am pretty sure it's not in redbox, but I could be wrong. Your post made me laugh and it was funny to see your Mom try to use expletives. It's just not in her!

You know your blog is awesome when the comments are just as fun to read as the blog itself.
Would you consider buying a replica (or possibly a doll house) antebellum in the south of ... Utah? They call St. George, Dixie, after all.

Sarah said...

when are you coming to visit? i want to discuss all of those topics with you, even if i don't know what some of them are.

Yah, I was putting "baby names" and "exciting news" together, too-- darn! Love the drawing. Joe's a P90X fan, too. I just watch and wonder why he does it:)
