lend me your hand and we'll conquer them all

pick a topic, any topic:

mumford & sons. how much i appreciate their particular brand of earnestness.

wondering why i never blog anymore but then kind of knowing why and feeling good about it.

that i have to take milo in for his first cavity/filling tomorrow and how that makes me feel like a bad mom. that i hope he doesn't tell the dentist his favorite food is "junk food!" like he tells everyone else. busted.

the swell season canceling their vegas show when we had driven all the way out there for it for our anniversary. and how now i go on youtube and watch their live clips and cry a little because i was just really counting on that concert.

how i just read gone with the wind for the first time and i'm head over heels with it. completely.

pearl's new jersey accent.

That I'd like to start writing with caps.

that i probably won't.

how i've discovered that being willfully misunderstood is my least favorite thing.

how glad i am that i quit facebook.

how jamie's a champion among men. (i think i just made that phrase up. he's a prince among men too.)

how my mom makes me laugh when she accidentally mishears everything i say as something dirty. tonight: "what?! 'shake your anus?'"

that i play the ukulele now.

i can't even tell you how happy it made me to see you put something new on your blog! (even if some of those things are bummers) makes me feel a little bit connected to you still. :)

By the way, "Gone With the Wind" has always been one of my favorites. Glad you discovered it. Can't wait to see you!

I always have cavities and my mom's the best. I think that's what having cavities means actually. So don't worry bout that one.

I'm friends with Marcus Mumford. Pretty sure it's a different guy. It has been a Mumford & Sons morning on pandora in the kitchen thanks to you; mostly they play other stuff though.

Jamie is the best best best.

I dread the cavity experience... I keep telling my kids they will have to get a shot in their mouth if they don't brush. It's inevitable that I've ruined any chances of them cooperating when that cavity comes along because I know it will. I have had TONS of cavities too and my mom is pretty amazing. hint hint, you are too.

i like your made up phrase. its better than the original.

i love the ukulele.

ps. ummm ever heard of pinterest.com? it's new and i think you would love it! its kind of like tumblr but better... you need an invite to join and i want to send you one if you like it :)

Um... Loved that you updated. You have the best blog (and I'm trying to quit, but will probably always read yours).

Don't worry about Milo's cavity. Maybe he's just prone to tooth decay. Wish I could be the dental assistant for his procedure!

I've read the first five pages of Gone with the Wind several times, but end up quitting. You must talk me into getting past that beginning part.

David is jealous that you play ukelele.

Jamie is a champion. He just left our house and said I don't owe him for picking us up from the airport but I promise you I will make it up to you guys! You two are going on a date next week and I'm babysitting and then you are going to come over for dinner and then we'll end the night with David taking your family photos. :)

Call me when you get back in town!
