Oh abs, this made me miss you SO much. This made me want to start singing harmony with you to "Oh how lovely was the morning..." You are still the same abby that I so adored my freshman year of college and that fact makes me so happy. Can you believe all that has happened since then? It has been EIGHT years! Wow.
you guys are the best. amye, could you be any more delightful? i want to come listen to a jam session next time:).
p.s. abby, i loved your last post and couldn't comment because it grew too long every time i tried. It struck so many cords and i decided that it was more like a post i needed to converse about not leave a comment about. and when you emailed me, i was so grateful and then my email broke that night and is still broken. it won't send, it can just receive. so...sorry i asked for your assistance and never used you. talk about too long of a comment...
oh Abby, that put such a smile on my face. You and your Mom together, so fun! I think that Amye is one of the nicest people I've ever known, for real. You guys are too cute.
Um. I just wrote about the awesomeness of your family on my blog. now I see your mom. and. the. euks. and. I. want. your. mum. to. adopt. me.
Please tell her that you know she always wanted a daughter with a British accent AND now you've found her one.
K? p.s. did you get my long message on facebook before you left. You didn't reply. Which means you either didn't get it. OR. you do not wish for a British girl for a SIL. friend. blog reader. euke playing joiner. ;)
Natalie, Nancy, and CS, you are sweet and kind. Eliza, the three of us had some great musical moments, eh? CS, little do you know that I LOVE to use a British accent. I tried to read to my kids with the accent, but it annoyed them. I would be happy to adopt you. Amye

Ok, I just learned All My Loving. Except I just learned it in the wrong key, apparently. Drat.

Ryan, we can't wait to uke jam! Mom
Here's what I've got; am I close?
Am D7 G Em C Am F D7 Am D7 G Em C D7 G
Em EmM7 G Em EmM7 G
I've been playing it in C, which is a lot easier. The Beatles played it in E, and that's ridiculous on a ukulele.
love it! :)
Ryan, Abby tuned her ukulele to mine, which was not tuned right. It's written to start in d minor, and we were way off that! Mom
Abby--you are way too cool to be related to me. ;-) But thank goodness you are!
Abby this is just awesome. Love you and your family.
