ballahoo

the first night my parents were here we went downtown to the "circus" and ate at ballahoo restaurant. the food was ok but the view was awesome. as we were waiting for our food, a huge church group filled the circus and was singing and dancing. the song was, "i give myself away, because He loves me..." over and over. they had a choir and a band standing on a trailer attached to a big ol tractor. it was LOUD. it was awesome. my parents loved it. definitely not something you see in glendale, az.

Part of me wants to bet money that dad wore that shirt to church, and the other part of me is afraid to ask.

no, not even! he brought a white shirt and he left it with us to give to a very very poor blind man in our ward. the man wore it to church this past sunday and looked very handsome.

That post was mine. I spelled something wrong. I am having serious longings to be there again. Who is the scowling woman with the big behind?

I love all the colors! That restaurant looks fun.

I can't believe your dad left his shirt for a blind man in the branch. That is so sweet and makes me want to cry. I had a friend whose dad passed away. She spoke in our BYU ward about him and said that if anyone every complimented his tie at church he would take it right off of his neck and give it to them. I love people like that and hope to someday be that way. I'm a little too selfish. If someone compliments my copy cat Anthropologie dress I doubt I'd tell them to come over to my house after church so I could give it to them.

I love that you blogged twice today. What a treat!

That was very cool of dad. He wore that shirt to church in Hawaii, but maybe it was because he forgot another shirt, I can't remember.

Yes- I love the colors of all the buildings. I love color. I had fun going through all your past posts. I MISSSSSSS you guys. You are all adorable. I wish we could come visit too. Is the duty expensive? If there was money in the package could you use it to pay the duty? What are you missing most that we could send in a box?

yes we're finally going to the right ward and it is the 11th. now I know why you're supposed to go to the ward you live in and I'm upset we didn't do it sooner. I think we wouldve been great friends. and now you live a million miles away.
