warmth

i haven't been able to get warm all day. i've been daydreaming about sun and heat and thanking my stars that we're headed to arizona for the holiday.

i just developed these pictures from all the way back in august. we went to a local community lake with our kids and nephew lincoln and had a fun day at the beach making a sand castle and swimming. and it was a hot one, america. i can almost feel the sun. anyway, the next day there was a story on the news about how the beach was closed because they had just discovered the roundworm parasite in the water. and i felt sick to my stomach for the next week, but luckily it wasn't the roundworm. i can almost laugh about it now.

p.s. pretty sure i'm the only person in the world who liked twilight better than new moon. but of course i'm going back again tonight. my husband wants to see it. i don't think i was supposed to tell you that.

i'm not sure what i thought about new moon. i had to pee so bad through the thing, but i didn't dare get up for fear i'd miss something. blast the large soda choice.

i don't like jacob. so that tells you something. twilight the book was FAR better than new moon as well.

and it's warm here. you'll be happy! :)

I hope Milo can swim. I'm getting the "d" just thinking about it. You look great in that suit. AG

I think if you watch it a second time with Jamie you might end up liking it better. We'll see...

These are awesome photos. Remember when I took like five minutes to describe my red swimsuit to you? It looks just like the one you are wearing except of course you are much cuter in yours than I am in mine.

I'm going to email you and give you a list of things to do in AZ for my sake such as Tia Rosa's and Last Chance. :)

really? you liked twilight better? i just wasn't a fan of the acting, the writing, the effects...you get the point. but i'd love to hear why because i totally liked new moon.

cute pics Abby, love your suit and your skinny self. Were there swarms of bees there the day you went? We went and the bees were ridiculous and then we never went back, I'm hoping that they take care of that before next year. Anyway can't wait to see New Moon, Trav wants to see it too so tell Jamie not to feel too bad!

i love that amye put the "d." reminds me of the time she asked me about my d-vorce and liz thought she was talking about the "d." hilarious

Bonnie, you crazy lady! That was funny. AG

that made me laugh, bon.

so i liked it better the second time. there are just way too many melodramatic speeches from jacob. he's exceptionally hot, but such a bad actor.

I liked new moon because i felt like it was true to the book, and it developed the characters better this time. And yes Jacob is hot, but not a great actor.

agreed.

(about jacob being good looking and all)

Kurtis (my husband) wants to see it with me, too. I don't think I'm supposed to tell people that either, but that's life. Those pictures are fabulous.

I was wishing it was warmer too. I am waiting for the new moon lines to go down before I even enter the theater. I am excited though...

Found your blog through Kelly McCaleb's - (I'm taking knitting 101 next week!) I was pulled in reading your adventure of moving to an island story - I'll keep following to see how it goes for your cute family.

P.S. I thought I was the only one who liked Twilight better than New Moon - then I read this!! At least there are 2 of us in the world!
