let me explain

I added some songs to the playlist.

I added "Starlight" by Muse. I am kind of embarrassed I like this song, but I have fought it in vain. Every time this song comes on the radio, I am mesmerized. I think it has something to do with the Twilight series. These books have been discussed ad nauseum, so I am not going to even enter that realm or discuss if I love vampires or werewolves (Go Team Jacob), but the author is apparently obsessed with the band Muse and thanks them in her acknowledgments in every book. I think she has said something about their music being the perfect soundtrack for a Twilight motion picture. I think she's right. I think I could make a killer movie trailer for the movie with their hit from a few years ago. Can't remember the name. I kind of wish that was my job- to add music to movies and TV in all the right places. Actually, I really really really wish that was my job.

Paul McCartney's Wonderful Christmas Time: This one's for you Liza Jane!

A year or two ago around the holidays, Jamie called me on his way home and exclaimed, "Abby, I just heard the best Christmas song on the radio. You have to hear it!" I finally figured out it was Baby It's Cold Outside. We'll forgive him that it's actually quite an oldie. It was cute he got so excited about it. This one's for you, babe!

We're singing "Baby, It's Cold Outside" at our concert Tuesday night, with a delightful touch of choreography by Jessi Young. It's one of my fav's, too.
As for the "Twilight" series, I just finished book II, and am curious if anyone will try to make a movie. You should contact Stephanie M., Abby! Amye

I love "Baby It's Cold Outside", especially Dean Martin's version. I tell you, if Dean sang that to me, I wouldn't leave, either.

A fabulous version of Baby It's Cold is by Ray Charles and Betty Carter. Love it, listen to it all year round.

Abby, what is that cute picture? A chadelier? An ornament. It's very pretty.

Abby- I will pretend I did not read your "Go team Jacob" nonsense. I was utterly disgusted when I read that, I'll have you know. I don't care if it's been discussed "ad nauseum", let's discuss it some more! P.S. Tell Amye it is going to be made into a movie.

All my love...

That would be a cool job for you. Are there any companies like that in SLC/Provo?

Val, I'll say it again: Team Jacob. I like warm bodies.

Di, I'm thinking that's more Hollywoodish. It's just a dream. I've realized I really could never handle working and being a mom too. I'm kind of a stress case that way. But thanks for the encouragement! You're really good at that.

hello! i haven't had internet for a long time so i know this comment comes way late. that muse song is excellent, saw them in concert recently- amazing! but it is funny cause i think of the twilight series too when i hear it. i must have read that same article :-P i too am a litte disappointed to hear of your affection for the furry team :-( i read the first two books in two days and have the last one but i'm making myself wait to read it cause then the year or whatever till the next one comes out hopefully will seem less terrible. weird, i know ;-)
