Dear Mom,
Instead of tackling the boxes and suitcases that fill our apartment, I pulled out the wreath and doormat you bought me, cleaned our door, hung the wreath, and slapped the mat down. Perhaps there were more pressing things to accomplish, but
a) there is something unsanitary about using the previous tenant's doormat
b) everyone loves a good wreath
Thank you (and Target) for making this moment possible.
Love,
your daughter

Micheal! Where have you been all life? Will you please email me your address? And let me know what's up in your life?
No, I love Jane Eyre. I think I want to re-read it too.
You put a smile on my face. I'm glad they're adorning your new home. Mom
Love the green!
BBC is showing a new Sense and Sensibility tonight. I watched the new BBC Jane Eyre adaptation again this week, wonderful. Have you seen it? Should be on PBS if it hasn't been already.

Kate! I have missed you. Is your blog private now?
Wow, I would like to see both of those!
aBBY,
i JUST purchased this wreath on Tuedsay! I love it. I have also tried justifying a new door mat because i love that very one so much! Then i am reminded that Emily, apparently, wouldn't approve of frivolous spending and there is the question, do i want a new door mat because i love it so much or do I NEED one? I think i will buy it tonight. Thanks for the advice!
Natalie, just do it. It will change your life. Sort of.
