Pretty art

The new BYU alumni magazine has a cover story about artist James Christensen's two daughters who are also talented artists. I especially like Emily McPhie's work. I think I might try to persuade Jamie to paint something similar for me. It would be such perfect baby nursery art.

Isn't it amazing her art has such a strong flavor of her father's? I really like these, too!

Oooh! Very nice. I especially like the girl on the boat and the girl on the stork (that is a stork, right?).

I'll take one, too, James! ;-)

I read that article too. I actually know the other sister (Cassandra). She probably wouldn't remember me, but I interviewed her for a class freshman year. I went to her house, met her daughters, and her husband (who is also an artist), went in her studio. At the time, she lived down the street from her parents, so she took me over there, and I got to go in his studio too. I felt pretty special.
I bet you could buy prints of her work for not too much. They would be really cute in a nursery.

That's really cool Angela! I like Cassandra's work a lot too. They are both so talented. All of their kids have really funky names too: Sunshine, Tallulah, Clover, etc. Gotta love that!

Emily, I love when people delurk. I don't usually have the courage though!

Bon, I love Gilmore Girls! It has to be asked, are you a Luke or a Chris fan? And does Logan make you want to gag everytime he opens his mouth, too?
