when you know cool people
In the last 6 months or so we've had a lot of fun opportunities to help with our friends' creative businesses.
Just this week Pearl modeled some turbans for Pepper Lou Turbans. These are the only turbans Penelope Kardashian will be see in! The rest, forgetaboutit! They're for moms and kids. I really love them.
Pearl and I also modeled some darling letterpress necklaces for Twig Creative a few months ago. I love how versatile they are and am constantly wearing mine. Twig has a ton of other awesome products too.
Then, in November we did a family photoshoot featured on the blog Say Yes To Hoboken on how to style your family photos. The incredibly talented Ashley Thalman took the photos and the crazy-stylish Emily Frame styled the shoot. This opportunity was both a dream-come-true and a little stressful because I was first trimester ill, our house was looking pretty ugly at that point, and some of us were really really short on clothes. But of course with those talented people everything turned out amazing! I love the pictures so terribly much and feel so lucky we were asked to do it.
There are so many beautiful pictures and I am having trouble accessing them for some reason right now but be sure to click on the above links to see some of them. I may post more later when I can figure the issue out.
And then waaay back in the warm wonderful summertime, we helped my dear friend Leslie model some products for her Etsy shop Little Mookie. Another dear friend Tiffany took the beautiful photos.
It's pretty cool to know all these talented people who are successfully chasing their creative dreams.
And I know this post was a whole lotta Sharps in yo face (mostly Pearl in yo face). Please still be my friend.

it's not that you know cool people it's that you are cool people. and gorgeous people too.
Now that you're the big time, don't you forget the little people who walked with you to Macey's at midnight to buy hair dye.

And, at the risk of sounding ridiculous, I have always wanted someone to ask our family to do something like this so I could have free family pictures. seriously. I think about it at least once a day.

This could change my life. I haven't found cool turbans since the 60's and I'm about to order some. Your daughter is beautiful and there is no such thing as too many Sharps.
