Just when blogging has become so obsolete that there's roughly a 15% chance you're reading this, I've decided to jump back in the saddle. Mostly because it makes Jamie and my mom happy, and I like them. So, I'll probably be recapping a bunch and all that boring stuff. But like I said, you're probably not reading this...
Milo turned seven the beginning of January. Enter: midlife crisis for Abby and Jamie. (But seriously.) With his birthday so close to Christmas I always feel guilt. Guilt and stress. Which translated this year into multiple celebrations spread out over two weeks. A little family celebration, a grandparents dinner to Red Robin, and a friends party to Nickel City. Nothing arouses my anxiety better than a friends party. I'll leave it at that. I think I've mentioned that ten times before. But the bottom line is he had a great birthday! We sure love this boy! Getting baptized next year and then the PSATs and then I'll have 5 Milo grandchildren. But seriously, no sweat!!
I don't know what's happening here but I like it.

and i love when the kids want to name the baby. taylor wanted to name our last fred. she was so determined. i told her she can save that name for her baby boy.

I laughed at that last sentence and the photo. Reminds me Jamie being stressed out when we'd have you over for dinner and him saying, "Milo, that is NOT a good choice," and then you telling me he was done having kids. Haha! Miss you guys soooooo much.

I'm really glad you are blogging again. I miss you. When you blog, it's like we're hanging out (sort of). Happy birthday, Milo! I'm glad it was great. I know what you mean about feeling guilty. Kaleb's birthday is also around Christmas.
