cockleshell bay

we took this particular jaunt on monday. james had just finished two dementor, soul-sucking tests and needed some cheering up. why didn't anybody tell us that medical school is hard? (oh you all did?)

the beach = caribbean prozac

mom and dad, counting the moments until you're here. xoxo.

p.s. look at this giant pig. the one on the left.

caribbean prozac. amazing.

and oh my! pearl has quite the little tan going on. she's so pretty. i don't know if that's a shallow thing to continue to note. but she really is.

i love your salt water sandals. love them. also, i noticed that one of your favorite books is "a tree grows in brooklyn." i loved that book so much the first time i read it that i went back and re-read it right away. one of my all-time favorites.

Those shells are so great! Can't wait to explore down the peninsula too. Sorry about the dementors.

abby the shells are so beautiful! we buy shells like that and hide them under the sand for our kids to find because the real san diego shells are lame. glad you have your prozac. i'd say that is the best kind to take:). have fun with your parents (and the pig)!

You are hilarious. Please tell me you don't think you are actually a pig, because then I'm an elephant.

Have a wonderful time with your family! Next time tell them to invite me.

Abby, I found this song this weekend (looove this band - UK Indy, what could be better!) and just loved it! I think it's your taste (we seem to have similar taste in music) and the video reminded me of your new location!

I blogged about *our* pigs on FS. They are cute, but not quite as big as *your* pig. :-)

Breath taking!!!
I agree, there is something about the beach that calms me. From the moment I put that bob marley CD in and start to drive to the coast to the moment I hear the sound of the waves... it's magic.

So the pig is huge and freaky. I can't believe you got that close. You look adorable and where did you get your sandals? They are super cute.
