heaven

church here is wonderful. we got called to teach the 4 to 7-year-old primary kids. they are quite the handful but i am already in love with each of them.

our lesson yesterday was about how we were all together in heaven and we chose to follow jesus and come to earth. we all drew pictures of what we think heaven is like.

pirate ships, octopuses, castles, green fields, and singing all day. that's what we can look forward to in the next life.

Pirate ships with men who look like Captain Jack Sparrow. Then it will be heaven.

Raymond's grandma is delighted to know he is learning great things in Primary. Thanks for sharing this picture of his new friends!

Double thanks for being a friend to my daughter!

Raymond pointed out Milo's pirate ship and told me how cool it was. I wish I was in your primary class. I get to hang out with Pearl and Henry in nursery next week though!

That's quite the picture the girl with the glasses is holding. Did Jamie help her with that, or did she draw it herself? Is she Becky's daughter?

Darling. It's so special working with the children at church. I love seeing how their minds comprehend the universe.

This makes me miss my primary kids in the Cayman Islands. I cried a lot when they wouldn't listen and I would think really bad thoughts about their parents for not teaching them how to behave, but in the end I always loved them and now I miss them and their little voices saying, "Sister Crandall," over and over again just to tell me a story about wild chickens in their backyard or that they memorized a primary song on their own.

What I'm saying is... enjoy this time with those beautiful children!
