mister hackworth

this summer, blogs were abuzz with the talents of photographer justin hackworth and his 30 Strangers Project. when he offered a free mother-daughter sitting for a $25 charity donation, i jumped all over that. and let me tell you, besides being incredibly talented (which is obvious. i mean, look at that picture of my ragamuffin. i stare at it everyday. i need to get it framed.) he is just about the nicest, most genuine person you will ever meet. an important characteristic in a photographer, i'd say. making socially awkward people like me feel comfortable. and making them look good even when they got a dorky haircut an hour earlier. true story. anyway, i think professional photographs are important. and i highly recommend justin. you regret clothes and cars and couches, but you never regret getting gorgeous photographs of your family to stare at forever.

(this sounds like a paid endorsement. but wait! if you act now...!)

THAT is one of the coolest pictures I've seen in a long time! I almost thought maybe it was an old vintage photo of a family member... but it's Pearl! Adorable!

Love it!

But, where is the Mother-Daughter one??? I want to see!

HA! I found them! And I love all the ones on there!

I also love that he could TOTALLY tell just how awesome you and Pearly are, and yes, I do feel blessed to be your friend!

I also looked at the photo and didn't realize it was Pearl! She's a beauty, but this photo shows a new dimension of her somehow. This Justin Hackworth is quite the photographer. I love all 3 of the photos-gorgeous girls!
