pardon my french, i'm just really bothered

i am posting these pictures instead of addressing what i really want to talk about, namely: what the h*ll is wrong with people when they're on facebook?? i'm sorry, but really, just because you are typing your rude comments about my religion/political leanings instead of saying it to my face does not mean it's not going to hurt my feelings.

i'm not going to talk about that, though. instead, please note pearl's awesome r.patz sunglasses and what a cute little family i have.

but seriously, twitter and facebook, you're fired.

I know! I think that people develop a psuedo courage when their interactions are only as personal as looking into the eyes of a computer monitor! (Though I'm sure I, too, have been guilty of that) Sorry for your hurt feelings and frustration. I'll boycot Facebook and Twitter (:

Those glasses are awesome. The internet sucks.

SO sorry! I think people hide behind the internet, I've had a couple of friends admit doing really unkind things online - like posting personal things about ex-boyfriends, friends etc. I'll never never understand it, as though it makes people cool or is acceptable as it isn't done in person. I'm not on facebook, while I see there are benefits I'm pretty happy without it!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog.

Pearle's sunglasses rock. She is a fashionista!

I don't know what some people's problems are.

I LOVE the fact that you take your family in photo booths. I think is is such a great idea and may have to do it one of these days.

You totally made my day with the Rachel Bilson comment {pssh.. I wish!}

As for the internet, What the H*ll is wrong with people? Seriously! I'm amazed at the gall {is that a word.. hmm if not it is now} of some people. They'd never say it to your face, but they'll happily type away mean, nasty, hurtful stuff. Says a lot about a person.

and yes..

Your kids are awesome.. Seeing beautiful kids are {finally} giving me itch for babies. :)

For some reason, people reject and insult things they don't understand. Who knows why, but it needs to stop.

Don't let people get you down. I think people that are mean are simply lacking something meaningful in their lives.

Oh gosh, I love it. I miss you guys.

p.s. I went private on my blog so you won't see it on reader anymore! I realized you could get to it if you google my name, and since I'm applying for jobs I was like, maybe I need to make it private real quick.

Very cute family! Love Pearl's glasses. Though I don't know who/what r.patz is. And love your hair! Wish mine looked more like that.

Sorry people are rude. they just need to backdown.

You should hear some of the comments I get. My grandparents familes were LDS from way back. Pioneers. Then the families kinda got preoccupied with eating and surviving and such during the Depression.

I don't intentionally hide that I converted--if asked or idiot comments abound, I speak up. Mostly it's just that casting my "pearls before swine" thing.

I finally figured out how to shut my cousins/aunt/uncle up. Whenever they start, I just shrug and say "It's a family tradition."

Sometimes, I mentally add "So, bite me."

I had to google r.patz, but I think if you've seen Twilight 4+ times, you automatically know. Get with it, Sarah.

PS -- I unfriended a certain relative of ours because I like him better when I don't read his status updates.

Emily,
There's my problem I guess. I've only seen it once. Why not just share, instead of making me look it up?

Oh no! I agree, I don't know why people are okay with showing their bad judgement on the Internet - instead of researching and asking questions, they prefer to insult and destroy any opportunity they had to start a friendship. I have to say though, I've learned so much about the mormon faith even though I'm not mormon just because I love cruising through creative, fun, and beautiful blogs. I found your blog because I go to Lizzy's often (I've asked her some recipe questions). Don't get discouraged - I think the Internet is much like the rest of humanity, mostly good with a lot of opportunities to grow, learn, and change.
