i used to feel guilty about never taking my children to portrait studios. today i decided i was over it and that now with every birthday or half-birthday i'm taking my kids to the photo booth. it is much cheaper, and i love the results.

Abby what a great idea! I'm definitely going to do that with my own kids, if you don't mind. What a cutie-patutie!

That is so cute. My favorite family photo EVER is from a photo booth. I wish there were more of them around. . .but maybe the rare treat of finding a booth is part of what makes the picture so special. :P

Awesome idea!!! I'm always looking for ways to feel a little less guilty... now for the lack of scrapbooks in my home????

"Professional" portraits are HIGHLY overrated in my opinion. Especially these days. They look so fake and staged. I like everyday, real-life pics form mom's camera. Those are the best pics. And I think the photo booth is a classic. What a fun tradition.

And by the way Milo--you are one handsome lil' dude!

(I love the second photo in each set.)

I need to just be honest and let you know that I will be completely copying this idea. Not just because its so cute but also because I hate portrait studios.

It's an investment, but if you get a DSLR, the good pictures pretty much take themselves. Then again, the photo booth does a lot of the same thing, and is much cheaper.
