I know. What the heck with canceling the good shows? We LOVE Eli Stone and heard that it was at risk =( I say we go on strike.

Ok, So, here's the thing. My conclusions on the cliff hanger scenario ... Like Buffy, Jericho and Friday Night Lights, the rabid fan base may keep this from staying cancelled or it could move to another network. The cartoon, Family Guy, was dead after 2 or 3 seasons, but the huge dvd sales made Fox rethink their decision.

And Showtime's Dead Like Me was axed after two seasons. Bad language aside, I loved Dead Like Me so much that I added Showtime to our cable.

And then it was cancelled. Of course.

It was axed in 2004. Apparently, the fans went insane and stayed that way, because Showtime produced and filmed a Dead Like Me movie for dvd to be released in 2009. If dvd sales go according to plan, the show will begin filming next fall.

So, there is hope. Or, possibly, Chuck can bribe Professor Lupin to get Harry Potter to perform a memory charm on those stupid ABC execs and they'll forget they ever axed it in the first place.

It could happen.
