i love: a mother's list
i love that i am a mom of two babies at the ripe old age of 24. i love that i've never regretted having them so young.
i love my fabulous little family. i love that my camera has a self-timer. i love my hair in this picture. (that last one is a lie. but i love that i have the freedom to hate my hair?? i'm trying here.)
i love my new yellow frye heels that i have been admiring for well over a year, but surely they were much too expensive, but surely my husband decided he didn't care and bought them for me anyway! (love you babe.) (p.s. this picture does absolutely no justice to the fabulosity of these shoes.)
i love my mom. i love all of the various representations of moms in my life. i love my grandma abbie, who passed away almost 5 years ago but whose gold "a" pendant i finally found a chain for and got to wear for the first time, appropriately, today. (i love that she received the pendant in 1927 for participating in debating.)
and i love my pearly girl and the fact that i know all of her digestive organs are functioning at 100% because she pooped all over my white skirt during sacrament meeting and now i am home cleaning her up and blogging instead of learning what a special thing it is to be a mother. but i love that i already knew that anyway.

Gorgeous family. Wonderful tribute to motherhood.
Special post from awesome daughter.
Awww.... sweet post, Abby! Happy Mother's Day! This is my 12th Mother's Day and they just get better and better! My son gave me an adorable pencil holder he made all by himself (with wood and nails!) and my daughter gave me a very cute fridge magnet that she made as well.
My children are my greatest treasures! I know you feel the same! Here's a cross-country "virtual toast" to being a mom! :-)
Abby - you're gorgeous and such a wonderful mother. I love the pendant - even better that it has precious sentimental value!
i love that you are such a cute mom. and i love your hair (muchos). and i love your outfit, SHOES, and "A" necklace. and i love you! happy mother's day abs.
I love the necklace Ab! I didn't know you owned that. Cute shoes and cute family!
A few comments. 1) sexy shoes!!! 2) darling family 3) Nice job Pearl. Her and Afton must be friends because Afton likes to make poopy messes too.
so cute, yabba dabba!
everything in this post was cute (except for maybe the poop, that maybe isn't so cute =)
That is the most awesome piece of jewelry that I have seen in a very long time! I love things with meaning. And amazing yellow shoes. And poop free Sundays. ACtually, poop-on-me-free Sundays.
glad to know i'm not the only one who has left church covered in poo.
Could your family be any more photogenic? I think not! Beautiful, beautiful! I'm loving the description of her "functioning organs," too-- gotta look at the bright side, right??
You guys are darling. I LOVE your shoes and I love yellow. I think it is super cool that you have a necklace from your grandma abby- that is really great.
Abby, you don't know me, I am Kyle Hunter's sister. I know Jamie and saw your blog on Hanna's. Please tell him hello from Kizzy and Jeremy. You are a beautiful girl and have an adorable family.
yes. as I recall that Sunday I was trying be the gate keeper at church and I finally found a family who had a real excuse to leave church early. It looked awesome! I think you were about to break down in tears but your husband was there by your side. Life is great.
