family search

I am addicted to this. It's really fun and productive. And anyone can do it. Sign up.

I've been ignoring my kids a little bit in favor of this. Somehow I don't think that's what the Church had in mind.

I love it too! The best part is the challenge of reading century-old handwriting. When did you start?

I have a friend in my ward who has been trying to get me to do this for over a year. She is the 'specialist' for our stake. She is completely hooked. I thought it looked a little over-whelming. Maybe I should try it?

We had a Sunday School lesson all about it a couple of weeks ago and I got motivated.

Debi- you should try it. It's not overwhelming, just kind of stressful when you can't figure out a name.

That's so great. What a fantastic way to serve others.

Hey Laurie Ann! We loved your Christmas card. It's nice to hear from you.

Abby, did you take your music off? Or is it my computer not functioning properly?

And I followed your advice and volunteered on the family search website. I didn't really know what I was volunteering for. Am I completely committed now?

Yeah, took the music off. Was getting sick of it.

You are now committed for life to family indexing. No- actually I think that just means you have an account now. Then you download the program and index names whenever you want. Do the little tutorial on the home page and you'll understand.

Oh, and speaking of music, we are loving our Ingrid Michaelson. Thanks.
