Is this something you can share with the rest of us, Amazing Larry?

Jamie and I hate taking pictures. We look at photos and say, "Oh, that's what I look like. Hmm." I guess we think we are better looking than we are. (Is that pride or is that low self-esteem?) But we take lots of pictures in this family anyway, because I love how photographs capture memories so wonderfully and become art too.

The lovely Kelly McCaleb took our photos last weekend and did a fantastic job. The girl's got talent. I'm officially obsessed with some of the pictures of the kids. And I've already made a mental note that the Ramona Quimby, Age 8 haircut isn't working for me. Check.

Here are some of my favorites.

That was a lot. I really love them all. There are a a couple more on her blog today. (Check out the former Brandi Stoneman's family, too.) Thanks, Kelly!

Beautiful pics! I agree with Emily; the S is perfect. Ramona's got nothin' on you, please! Love your boots and dress too. And I looked at Kelly's blog and Brandi is beautiful too! How fun to see her again.

You are too nice, Kelly. I was secretly lusting after your hair, actually. Especially when you said you'd just woken up. Not fair! My hair is honestly and truly the bane of my existence.

I grew up in the same ward as Brandi and Natalie in AZ. Another connection: you are friends with NieNie, who is my sister's quasi-sister-in-law. I love how small the world is.

Isn't Natalie Brandi's sister, or are you talking about a different Natalie? Abby, the pictures are beautiful!

The very same.

you guys are so stinking cute. and these pictures make me want babies really badly. p.s. i'm so so so sorry if you guys have been burdened at all with Nate's car and his family having to call you all the time for it...we didn't know that would happen...and when we found out that you guys picked up Nate's dad from the airport so he could use the car, we felt really terrible. we're really sorry, we had no idea. i wanted to email you that message but i don't have your email! thanks for being so great, you both are such great friends to us. let us know if there is anything we can do to make your life easier with that dang car...

Don't even worry about it! I've wanted to email you too, but I don't have yours either. Anyway, his family is so so so nice and it is no big deal. We had a really nice chat with his dad the other night. The car is having some problems lately, but I think Jamie can try to figure them out. Hope you're doing great! I am counting on you guys making us some authentic Indian food when you get home!
