16 months

I know that these kinds of things are only interesting to me as his mother, but I thought I'd document some of Milo's recently developed tricks and traits, especially as it's beginning to sink in that pretty soon it won't be just the three of us anymore.

Words
"Who loves Daddy?"...."I DO!"
"Baby!" (He either points to my tummy or his own when saying this.)
"Woah." (Whenever he see something interesting.)
"Rub rub rub rub!" (Barking like a dog, but the sound applies to any animal he sees.)
"Dada."
"No, no, no." (This is said in a reprimanding, high-pitched tone. If he is in the other room and I hear him say this, I know he is up to no good.)
"Ball." (He is quite the little athlete and can dunk the hoop in the church nursery.)
"Tikka tikka tikka." (Don't know what this means, but it reminds us of Dr. Evil.)
"Eyes." (As he points to them.)
"Mama." "Mom."
"Happy." (Because I am frequently telling him when he cries, "Milo, let's be happy!")

Tricks
Milo is a dancing fool and will start shaking his little booty anytime he hears music. He also likes to spin to the music, with one arm sticking out.

We blow "raspberries" on Milo's tummy, which he loves. Now he has discovered he can do it back to us! Any patch of skin is fair game in his book. The other day I was sitting at the computer and he lifted up my shirt a little and blew one on my big belly! It is hilarious, and he is well aware.

Eating out of a bowl without the desire to spill all of its contents everywhere.

Drinking only out of sippy cups.

Sometimes he thinks it's funny to scrunch up his nose and breathe out of it really hard. It is really nerdy and funny. Hopefully we break him of this before he gets to the marrying age.

Kisses. (Although he needs to learn to close his mouth!)

Sharing his food, as long as he can place it directly in your mouth.

Sleeping through the night.....NOT.

Personality
Milo is what we call a "stinker," but he is really the sweetest boy I can imagine. He loves to be held and loved. He is always smiling and laughing. He is extremely active and curious about everything, especially anything outdoors. He actually throws a little fit when we have to go inside. He is not very shy, but lately has been very clingy with me. His favorite thing to do is read books, which is so wonderful, but I have gotten to the point where I don't have to read the words because I have them all memorized. He wants to be read to all day. Maybe he will be like his uncle and we can move him on to the classics like The Lord of the Rings Trilogy in the not-too-distant future... Milo's favorite food is candy. Or anything that I am eating.

One word to describe Milo...

Joy.

That was fun to read, Ab! He is just a little Abby, as far as looks are concerned. A total and complete babe.
