An open and shut case

Jamie and I are kind of embarrassed about this, but it's too funny not to share. I am probably guilty of keeping the TV on a little too much during the day. I turn it on for comfort, although rarely do I just sit down and watch it (thank you, Mom, for that habit.) Milo, though, couldn't care less about the boob tube. He's usually too busy wreaking havoc on our little apartment. Too busy, that is, until MATLOCK comes on. When that swingy theme music starts playing, he is glued to the TV. You cannot break him away until the song is over. We think it's cute, and also a good sign that our son will be a nerd, which we're okay with. Next time Matlock comes on, listen to the theme music and have a good laugh at Milo's expense. He won't mind.

I used to really enjoy Matlock, not so long ago. I mean I really looked forward to the reruns everynight. I took a hyatis from it before Mark and I got married. Post marriage, I asked Mark one night if he wanted to watch it with me, I was sad, and somewhat embarassed at the not-so-good-quality I had thought I enjoyed before. So what I'm saying is Milo,(and maybe you too) enjoy that Matlock while you can. It will hit you someday too.

Abby-

It makes total sense. It's in his blood to love Matlock. Any child, or grandchild, of Cheryl's is bound to love it. Will is a very proud fan of Ben. :)

Or maybe Milo is just getting a jump-start on his future career as a lawyer.

So he can be like his daddy.

We all know that trials in real life go exactly the way they do for Ben. ;-)

Wow! I had no idea of Matlock's universal appeal (especially with cute 30-something women!)
Sarah, that is really funny you watched that. I think I remember I used to watch soap operas with you. Am I right? Do you still have that habit?
I think the lawyer explanation is a good explanation for Milo's interest. Good one, Wendy.
Jamie said the same thing about Cheryl, Debi. It made me laugh.

I still like Matlock, too.

That's not Ryan Godfrey, right? It took me a few minutes on his blog to figure that out.

I don't think I've ever seen Matlock, but I love that Milo is a fan.

Nope, that's Ryan and Tawny, Abby and Jamie's good friends, who just moved to Wash. St.
