Just when blogging has become so obsolete that there's roughly a 15% chance you're reading this, I've decided to jump back in the saddle. Mostly because it makes Jamie and my mom happy, and I like them. So, I'll probably be recapping a bunch and all that boring stuff. But like I said, you're probably not reading this...
Milo turned seven the beginning of January. Enter: midlife crisis for Abby and Jamie. (But seriously.) With his birthday so close to Christmas I always feel guilt. Guilt and stress. Which translated this year into multiple celebrations spread out over two weeks. A little family celebration, a grandparents dinner to Red Robin, and a friends party to Nickel City. Nothing arouses my anxiety better than a friends party. I'll leave it at that. I think I've mentioned that ten times before. But the bottom line is he had a great birthday! We sure love this boy! Getting baptized next year and then the PSATs and then I'll have 5 Milo grandchildren. But seriously, no sweat!!
I don't know what's happening here but I like it.
I'm reading.
ReplyDeleteholy smokes that boy is handsome.
ReplyDeleteyour bloggings are always welcome in my reader!
It made my heart so happy to see a blog update! In the first two pics are you using your 85mm? Gorgeous. And the last two---HA! You have the best shenanigans in your family.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading!
ReplyDeleteAm I ever reading! As I mentioned, I check twice a day to see if you've posted, and there's been a pretty dry spell. So, this is great! I'll say that boy is handsome!

ReplyDeleteThe comment was not rude. It copied twice. I always think the worst when I see "the comment was deleted." I shall say here that your chocolate desert looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteyour mom sounds like my mom... "i check twice a day to see if you've updated!"
ReplyDeleteour poor moms.
abby, your blog is one of my favorites. if i could carry you and your blog in my pocket, i would.

All ears...and I feel that warp-speed childhood over here too. Yummy looking cake, and the kids are ever so cute!
ReplyDeletei am reading too! your face and writing make me happy. my husband asked me the other day why i am still blogging?! haha."i just am", i said.
ReplyDeleteand i love when the kids want to name the baby. taylor wanted to name our last fred. she was so determined. i told her she can save that name for her baby boy.
Is that your child??? How the heck did Milo get so old so fast? This is freaking me out.
ReplyDeleteAlso I love all the pics and reading your words.
Oh, I am a bad aunt. Can't believe I forgot to call Milo on his birthday. Can't believe we have 7 year olds. They are so so big.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Milo Man!
Such a handsome boy! His hair is so dapper.
ReplyDeleteI laughed at that last sentence and the photo. Reminds me Jamie being stressed out when we'd have you over for dinner and him saying, "Milo, that is NOT a good choice," and then you telling me he was done having kids. Haha! Miss you guys soooooo much.
Is your family/house/life for real? It's kinda too perfect.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Elizabeth! Too perfect and adorable :) Milo's one handsome dude. Look out, ladies!
ReplyDeleteI'm really glad you are blogging again. I miss you. When you blog, it's like we're hanging out (sort of). Happy birthday, Milo! I'm glad it was great. I know what you mean about feeling guilty. Kaleb's birthday is also around Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. Love your guts.
ReplyDeletePS. I can't believe Milo is 7!
ReplyDeletePPS. These are great photos.
