he's an emancipated punk and he can dance

milo and i made this stop-motion video a few months ago when the days were long and pearl was really sick one day. i like projects that are fun for the kids and the mom. this fits the bill. just take a million pictures and upload them to a movie maker. (i also love what my friend sarah just did. she put a hidden camera in the room while her son was supposed to be napping.)

i love this boy. he's a newly-minted preschool grad. and the other day he whispered to his dad, "do canadians like to be alone?"

  6. Oh I LOVE this! He's adorable & very cool- and you are so creative :)
Your friend's movie was great too. I wish I had a video camera when my oldest two were little. I totally would have done something like that. A few years ago I set up a camera one morning to video our get ready for school routine- it isn't pretty- inherited glass chicken candy dish was broken, back pack forgotten, dilly dallying galore; but worth taping- I think.

  8. well i took a million pictures with my SLR attached to a tripod and then uploaded all the pictures to the movie maker program that came on my computer. i wish i had more technical lingo to offer? you could figure it out.

  14. I'm obsessed with this! Abby- that is the cutest thing ever and I adore each and every photo. I love stop motion and have been wanting to do one for a while (who am I kidding- I've been wanting DAVID to do one), but never thought of an idea for it. Maybe I can drop Oliver off one day and you'll send him home with one of these?

I love your choice of music too. The whole thing was amazing.

  21. when I think of stop motion photos, I think of those cheesy early nineties church videos they'd show in seminary. (if you don't know what i'm talking about ..well, lets just say you missed out on some good laughs.)

this is far from cheesy. I love it, and feel like we all got to hang out with milo for a bit.
