Book worm

My favorite thing about Milo today:

When he wants to read a book, he picks it up and then carefully backs into my lap from two feet away and snuggles in for a good read.

Who knew?

Milo wants to be "bro" sooner. Much, much sooner. Like July 26. He pretty much always gets his way.

First word.

When Milo was a newborn, I used to think how fun it would be when he'd be able to talk and we could have great conversations together. I imagined his first word would be something like "mommy," or "daddy," or even something funny like "cookie." Save the occasional accidental curse word (he doesn't get it from us!), Milo had yet to really master a word. But today was the day.

Can you guess what his first word was?

[In an angry voice after I told him to get out of the closet.]

"NNNNNNNNO!"
